Discipleship.
Mission.
Becoming.
This is where I write about the things that matter most — what it means to follow Jesus seriously, how that shapes the life you're actually living, and who you're becoming in the process. Some posts come from my sermons. Some from Scripture I can't stop thinking about. Some from conversations that stuck with me. All of it is written for the apprentice of Christ who wants to go deeper. Let’s dig in!
What’s Your Eye On
Life can sometimes be confusing, painful, frustrating, empty, and alone.
The Psalmist David experienced all of these same feelings that we do. David was known as a man after God’s own heart. In Psalm 32 he shared some intimate relational practices between God and us when we’re navigating this puzzling thing called life.
Are You Giving Fruit?
Are you GIVING fruit?
You were born to bear fruit. You weren’t born to keep it.
This one word makes ALL the difference
In John 15 Jesus talks about the vine and the branches. This is a popular passage, but most of the time we brush over one vital keyword. Jesus says he is the true vine and we are the branches. That word "true" hyperlinks into who God is. God is spirit and truth (John 4:24).
