Trapped? There’s Only One Way Out?
Jesus was always teaching, always leading, and always pointing the way forward. In John chapter 14, he speaks more directly than ever before: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” There’s no mistaking his message here. He’s saying, “Look! There’s no other path. There’s no other truth. There’s no other source of life but me.”
Our world tries to pull us in so many directions and it’s easy to get caught up in trends, noise, and cultural expectations. But Jesus calls us to break free from all of that. Break free from the noise, the lies, the distractions that try to pull you off the path. He says, “Follow me.” Not follow the crowd, not follow the latest trend, not follow path of the political polarizations— just follow him. Plain and simple because he is the way.
His way is the way to true love, healing, unity, and eternal life. Jesus is preparing a place for us, but he’s also asking us to help bring others along. Let’s stay on his path and invite others into the abundant life only he offers.

Prayer
Father we recognize Jesus is the only way, the objective truth, and the abundant life. Help us follow him and lead others to get to you. In Jesus name Amen.
