Too Much to Think About

There are so many things our eyes see, our ears here, and our mind thinks about that we come across every day, all day. There's too much actually.

Paul tells us in Romans 12:2 to "not conform to the patterns of this world." The pattern of this world is distraction to the mission of what we are called to do and who we are called to be.

Paul goes on to say in Romans 12:2 that we are to "be transformed by the renewing of our mind so that we will know God's will". How are we to be transformed and have our mind renewed and know God's will? Through God's Word. That's how he speaks to us.

If we read it every single day (yes every day) and meditate on it so that his words are in our mind, then we are transformed and renewed. Then we know his will. This is how we are able to be fully equipped to carry on the mission for which we are called.
