Easter’s Over… now what?

Here's a pragmatic thought, powerful Scripture, and purposeful prayer to guide us through the rest of our week.

Thought

Easter was fun, but now it's done. What now? Yeah Jesus's followers were wondering the same thing. Here's what he said to them to do and it's the same thing he wants us to do, every day.

Verse

"Then he said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes [okay Jesus cool, but I'll pass on that one!]; if they should drink anything deadly, it will not harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well." Mark 16:15-18 CSB

Prayer

Father in Jesus name expand your Kingdom and will be done here. Help us to love you with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and others sacrificially. Fight all spiritual attacks and protect us from the evil one. Give us boldness and opportunity to be a disciple maker who helps people obey everything you taught so more people know you intimately and follow you. Fill us with more of your Spirit so we share your love and Gospel to everyone. Amen.
